Return and Refund Policy
1. Conditions for Returning an Item:
You have the right to cancel any purchase by exercising your legal right of withdrawal in accordance with Law No. 53-05 on Electronic Data Exchange of Legal Information, within 7 working days from the date of receipt of the item.
If, for any reason, you are not satisfied with an item you ordered from bookondesk.com, you may return it under the conditions specified below, within 7 days.
If you cancel your purchase within the 7 working days withdrawal period, we will refund the purchase price of the item, but return shipping costs will be at your expense.
Please note that additional services linked to the main purchase contract cannot be canceled (e.g. gift-wrapping fees).
2. After 7 Days:
After the 7-day period, we consider that the item meets your expectations and has been definitively acquired. It will therefore be impossible to return the item, regardless of its condition, once the 7-day period has elapsed.
3. Refund Method and Timing:
The refund will be processed within a maximum of 15 days following your return request.
You will receive your refund through the same payment method used for the original order. The refund will be made once we have received the returned item(s).
Once we receive your return, you will be refunded within 2 to 3 working days. However, depending on your bank, the refund may appear on your statement only after 7 working days.
An email notification will be sent to inform you when the refund is completed. You can also check your refund status in your "My Account" section by viewing the relevant order.

4. The 4 Conditions for Refund After Item Inspection:
All returned items will undergo inspection. Products must be returned in their original condition, original packaging, and all seals and labels intact. These factors will determine the final acceptance of the return.
Condition 1: We are not responsible for loss or damage during transport.

Condition 2: If you return an item due to an error on our part (e.g. damaged, defective, non-compliant, incomplete, wrong color, etc.), in other words, if the item received does not match your order, the item price and return shipping costs will be refunded. Gift-wrapping fees (and any other additional services) will also be refunded.

Condition 3: After verification, if a returned item claimed as damaged or non-compliant shows no defect, and if the return was initially accepted at our expense, bookondesk.com reserves the right to cancel the refund of return shipping costs.

Condition 4: If the item is compliant and the return is due to a change of mind, and not the result of an error on our part, only the item price will be refunded. Return shipping costs will remain at your expense. Initial shipping fees and any other additional service (e.g. gift-wrapping) will not be refunded.
