Terms and Conditions of Sale

Please read the following information carefully, as it constitutes a contract establishing the general terms of sale for the products and services offered through our company’s online store.

These terms apply between, on one hand: the website bookondesk.com, and on the other hand: any individual or legal entity making a purchase via the website bookondesk.com.

Accordingly, you may only place an order if you accept the terms outlined below.

1- Preamble:

The following Terms and Conditions of Sale govern all transactions made through the website bookondesk.com. Any order placed on this website implies the client’s full and irrevocable acceptance of these terms.

These sales conditions take precedence over any other general or special conditions not expressly approved by bookondesk.com, unless there is a prior, explicit, and written exemption. bookondesk.com reserves the right to modify these terms at any time and without notice. The applicable terms are those in force at the time the order is confirmed.

2- Purpose:

These Terms and Conditions aim to define the rights and obligations of both parties in the context of online product sales by the company managing bookondesk.com, using the secure online payment platform provided by the Interbank Electronic Payment Center (CMI).

By ticking the checkbox “I accept the Terms and Conditions of Sale,” you agree both to purchase the listed item(s) and to accept these terms without reservation. It is not possible to place an order without agreeing to these terms.

The domains bookondesk.com, bookondesk.ma, bookdesk.ma, bookdesk.com, bookondesk.org, bokondesk.info, bookondesk.net, and bookondesk.market are registered services and trademarks of the company managing bookondesk.com.

3- Definitions:

In this contract, the following terms are defined as follows:

Distance Contract: Any agreement for the sale of products or services between the company managing bookondesk.com and a consumer, executed through an organized remote sales system exclusively using the Internet.

Consumer: Any natural person acting for purposes outside of their professional activity.

Order Form: A document specifying the product(s) chosen by the consumer and validated by a “double click” which acts as a signature.

Order: The action by which the consumer commits to purchasing products, and the company commits to delivering them.

4- Products:

The products available for purchase on bookondesk.com are those shown on the site at the time of the user’s visit. All listed products are available for sale while stocks last.

The company reserves the right to remove any product from the catalog at any time and without notice. It cannot be held liable for the inability to use the purchased product due to hardware incompatibility.

Despite regular updates, some items may be temporarily or permanently out of stock. If a product is unavailable, the company will notify the consumer as soon as possible.

bookondesk.com strives to provide accurate descriptions, prices, and specifications for all products. However, in the event of errors or omissions, bookondesk.com shall not be held liable.

Products remain the property of bookondesk.com until full payment has been received.

5- Placing an Order:

When placing an order, the consumer agrees to provide accurate personal details (name, address, phone number, email, etc.). By confirming the order, the consumer acknowledges accepting the prices, quantities, and products offered.

After selecting your items, click “Order” to add them to your order form. You can update your order or return to the catalog by clicking “Continue shopping.” Once your selection is complete, confirm your order by clicking the “Pay” button. bookondesk.com will confirm the order via email to the address provided. The sale is only considered finalized upon this confirmation.

If an error occurs while filling out the order form, please request a cancellation by email within 24 hours. After cancellation, you may place a new order.

bookondesk.com reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order in cases of consumer insolvency, unpaid orders, or ongoing disputes from previous transactions.

The consumer is responsible for any errors made in the delivery or billing address during the ordering process. bookondesk.com cannot be held liable for delivery issues resulting from such errors.

6- Prices:

Prices are listed in Moroccan Dirhams (MAD), inclusive of all taxes (TTC), and are valid at the time they are displayed.

bookondesk.com reserves the right to modify prices at any time. Orders are billed according to the rates in effect at the time of order confirmation, subject to product availability.

7- Order Fulfillment:

Orders are processed within a maximum of 7 days from the date of confirmation. If the ordered product is unavailable, the consumer will be notified and may either cancel the order for a full refund within 30 days or request a replacement product.

8- Delivery:

Delivery is not handled by the company directly. Customers must collect their order at the delivery address specified in the order form.

Products are delivered to the address indicated by the Customer. The Customer must inspect the goods upon delivery and report any transport-related damages to the courier and the company within one business day.

If requested, an invoice may be sent with the order by checking the relevant box in the order form. 

8.1 Delivery Costs:

Delivery fees are paid by the customer.

·       **  In Morocco: from 40 MAD.

·       ** International: based on CHRONOPOST or DHL registered shipping rates.

Prices include all applicable taxes and are based on item weight.

The delivery fee appears on your invoice and decreases with larger orders. Grouping purchases is recommended.

8.2 Delivery Times:

Once payment is received, orders are dispatched within 48 hours (subject to product availability).

·        * In Morocco: delivery is via carrier.

·         *Abroad: orders are sent via registered post.

Delays do not entitle the customer to cancel the order, refuse delivery, or claim compensation.

9- Payment Methods & Security:

Payment can be made using one of the following methods offered on bookondesk.com:

·        * Secure online payment via credit card.

·        ** Cash on delivery.

·         *Bank transfer (order processed after receipt of proof of payment by email at info@bookondesk.com).

The order amount is stated in the confirmation email. The invoice will be included in the parcel.

Online payments are secured by CMI (Interbank Electronic Payment Center), which ensures fully secure transactions.

The consumer guarantees that they are authorized to use the selected payment method.

In case of card payment, fraud protection rules apply as per the agreements between the consumer, the issuing bank, and the merchant’s bank.

10- Right of Withdrawal:

You have 7 days from the delivery date to exercise your right of withdrawal and receive a full refund. Return shipping costs are at your expense. Only goods returned in resellable condition will be refunded.

11- Proof of Card Transactions:

All transaction records (communications, order forms, invoices, etc.) are archived in the systems of bookondesk.com or its partners and may be used as evidence of the commercial transactions between the consumer and the merchant.

Payment data stored by CMI on behalf of bookondesk.com also constitutes proof of the transaction.

12- Data Privacy:

The information requested during checkout is required for order processing and will be treated confidentially. You have the right to request corrections to your personal data.

13- Force Majeure:

The company managing bookondesk.com is only bound to fulfill its obligations insofar as no event of force majeure prevents it from doing so.
